Q 17. Does IILM offer any scholarships?

A. We have Scholarships Available based on mentioned criterion –

  • Merit Cum Means scholarships are given to highly talented students belonging to economically weak families.
  • All the girl’s students enrolling on any course in the university are eligible to get a straight deduction of 10% under the girl’s scholarship policy.
  • Wards of all the defence personnel are eligible for a 20% scholarship.
  • The students who scored above 90% or above on boards will be eligible for a 20% scholarship.

Q 19. How pandemic will impact international exchange of students?

A. In the new changing world order, people are embracing a new working lifestyle. Worldwide in the Higher Education sector Institutes/Universities are adopting hybrid-learning experience for imparting management education to the students. It may be a new phenomenon for some countries to adopt this new hybrid methodology but for many institutes/ universities in the west, they have a robust and scalable system for virtual remote learning – a new normal.

Q 20. Is there any arrangement in getting an education loan from financial institutions?

A. IILM has partnered with banks to make the procedure for applying for education loans easier for students, to help students bridge the gap between the cost of the program and students ability to pay. Please get in touch with one of our admission counselors and they will guide you.

Q 1. What are the courses offered? How can I choose them?

A. IILM offers UG & PG courses in the area of Management, Liberal Arts and Engineering, course list here. The selection for courses are made based on interest and pre-requisite of the course.

Q 2. What are the additional or value added courses at IILM?

A. Value added courses are the courses that lead to holistic development of the student, the detailed list can be seen on the website.

Q 3. Do these courses carry credits?

A. They don’t carry credits . However, the students has to pass the courses he had opted.

Q 4. If a student is unable to clear the value added courses can she/he get a degree?

A. No, the student has to clear these courses.

Q 5. Can a student opt for more than one value added courses in one semester ?

A. No he/she can’t

Q 6. Can I apply to more than one course? Can I do it in a single application?

A. Yes, However, if you opt for courses in different groups, then you will need to fill out separate applications.

Q 7. What will be the title of the Degree by the university?

A. The title of the degree will be Undergraduate Degree or Post graduate degree eg.:

Q 8. What is the duration of the courses at IILM?

A. UG courses have duration of 3 years except B Des which is 4 years and integrated LLB courses which is 5 years and PG for 2 years, LLM which is 1 year.

Q 9. Can I study courses from any other programme in the University?

Q 10. Can you please brief me about the Programmes offered by IILM University ?

A. IILM University has three schools namely:School of Liberal Arts, School of Management, and School of Law. Each school offers a variety of courses.

Q 11. Do you teach any foreign language in the courses at IILM?

A. Yes, we offer German, French, Spanish & other languages asked by students depending on class size (minimum batch of 10 students).

Q 12. What is the job opportunity after liberal arts program in Psychology?

A. Psychology has several specializations, depending on which you major in you can opt for an office job in industrial psychology, work in hospitals, Industries & hotels. Most organisations has a psychologist on board.

Q 13. Will I get any international exposure?

A. Yes , you can opt for Summer schools after first year, student exchange programs, semester abroad, global study tour to partner Universities and even do an internship abroad.

Q 15. How is the assessment done?

A. Assessment is done with various components within the course, each course has a unique assessment pattern. The components of assessment range from simulations, quizes, presentations, individual and group projects, assignments, online tests and end term examination.

Q 17. Are Students required to do some kind of internship over summer vacation?

A. Yes, after the second year & third year

Q 1. When will applications open for the UG/PG programme commencing in 2021?

A. Applications for the current admissions cycle are open now.

Q 2. Does IILM Provide Career counselling, is it chargeable ?

A. Yes we do provide career counselling by experts and its free of cost.

Q 3. Can Parents Attend the counselling instead of Students?

A. Yes, however for interview candidate has to be present.

Q 4. Where do I get a copy of the application form?

A. The IILM’s application form is available online or from campus.

Q 5. What is the process of registering for a career counselling session at IILM?

A. The process of registering requires you to fix an appointment via the admission office and availability of subject matter experts will be ascertained.

Q 6. What documents do I need to submit for admissions?

A. 3 Passport size photos, aadhar card copy, passport copy, 10th, 12th and graduation marksheet (if applicable), proof of income and any other certificates for proof of scholarship.

Q 7. How and when should I submit these documents?

A. These documents are required before interview process, you can scan and send online or carry with you on day of interview.

A. Yes as per eligibility conditions for each programme, grant of admission is discretion of admission committee

A. The registration fee is 90,000 INR

Q 12. Is the registration fee refundable?

A. Yes, the registration fee is refundable as applicable UGC norms

Q 13. How do I send in my academic transcripts/mark sheets, other documents and photographs required as part of the application?

A. Physically or you may scan/ upload the documents as part of the online application form.

Q 14. How will the IILM verify my transcripts/documents?

A. At the time of joining the programme, you need to bring all the original documents with you which will be verified by our admission committee.

Q 15. How do I accept the offer of admission?

A. By remitting admission fee per programme within the deadline specified.

Q 16. Can the admission offer acceptance date be extended?

A. No. The acceptance dates are fixed by the Admissions Committee.

Q 17. Can a student having less than 50% aggregate apply?

A. Students below the eligibility criteria will be considered only under special circumstances. Contact admission department for details.

Q 18. Do I have to be proficient in languages to fulfill the language requirement?

A. The medium of instruction is English, basic comfort written and spoken in the programs is required. Language skills are also enhanced during your course.

Q 19. What is the eligibility criteria for UG courses?

A. A minimum of 50% marks aggregate in senior secondary (10+2). Details may vary as per the course. Refer program website for the same.

Q 20. Which competitive examination scores does IILM accept for MBA admissions?

A. For MBA-CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, NMAT

Q 21. Is there any fees for application form?

A. The application form can be downloaded from the Website or can be collected from respective campus. There is no fee for the same.

Q 22. What is the minimum percentile required for Admission 2021?

A. The cut-off is not pre-defined. It depends upon the quality & number of applications received and varies from year to year for different courses.

Please note, candidates are only shortlisted on the basis of CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, NMAT scores for further selection process i.e. PI (Personal Interview) rounds. Final merit is prepared on the basis of different parameters and admission offers are given based on the overall merit and performance of the candidate.

Q 23. What is the duration of the Academic Session?

A. Duration of the course is two years, which will be started from 1st August 2022 and will finish by May 2024 as directed by AICTE.

Q 24. What is the date of course commencement?

A. Foundation Course – From 4th July to 22nd July 2022.

Q 25. When will the Orientation program be conducted?

A. The orientation program will be conducted on 27th – 29th July ‘2022. after the formal inauguration of the academic session.

Q 26. What specializations are offered to candidates and when can the students opt for specialization?

A. Students can opt for specialization at the beginning of the Third Trimester, PGDM/ MBA in Marketing & Innovation, Business Analytics, HR, Financial Technology & Entrepreneurship.

Q 27. What is the criterion for selection of specialization?

A. Interest of the candidate and minimum required CGPA is the criteria for the selection of specialization.

Q 28. What is the procedure for refund of fees in case of cancellation of admission?

A. You need to send withdrawal request mail and accordingly the details will be shared with you. The refund will be processed after receiving the required documents from the candidate.

A. IILM had a successful placement for the Batch of 2019-21. The placement commenced in the first week of November 2020 and concluded with the Final Placement process closer to 95% with an Average Package of 7.5 Lakh

Q 10. Please guide us about the summer internships?

A. This year, the companies are offering many students work from home internships, of course, they may not get projects that are generally offered to summer interns. In lieu of this, students are doing a dissertation and also have resorted to enhancing their skillset and domain expertise by undertaking extra certifications.

But, for the next year, summer internships are likely to be usual.

Q 11. What will be the placement scenario post COVID-19, as it will affect the demand and impact the placement of batch 2021- 23?

A. The post-COVID scenario accentuates the need that the world has to be online, imbibe a different professional culture and gear up to clasp the new normal altogether. For the batch of 2021, which have been placed through campus drives, the job offers would be honored, though there can be delays in joining. As per recent interaction with most of the recruiters, the salary structure may be moderately subjected to a revamp based on the capital deficit of that particular organization. By 2022, campus hiring will get back to its new normal with new patterns, job profiles, and skillsets.

Post COVID-19, the new world will be looking at young management graduates with positive anticipation for progressing and re-establishing the industry and thereby, the economy, with smart, reliable and knowledge-based problem solving approach. Students pursuing and willing to pursue a managerial career should learn new things at a proper pace and with precision.

What is the criteria for admission?

B.Tech Candidate must have passed 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University; securing minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST/ Reserve candidates) MARKS in required subject combination (two compulsory & one optional) taken together. The candidate is essentially required to pass without any grace marks. Compulsory Subjects Anyone of the following Subjects

What is the process of admission?

Candidates willing to take direct admission under the management quota, must meet the eligibility criteria as per the University norms and must possess availed rank of either CUET/JEE Advanced Entrance Examination or Internal Online Exam and PI. Such candidates can directly apply online or by visiting the University.

Student can also seek direct admission through walk-in on campus or apply online for registration.

1. Two sets of attested photocopy of High School (10th) Mark sheet and Passing Certificate.
2. Two sets of attested photocopy of Intermediate (12th) Mark sheet and Passing Certificate.

4. Five latest Colored and Five black & white passport size photographs.

Is UPSEE/JEE/CAT/MAT mandatory for the admissions?

No, Not in all cases.
